The trust was established in 1925 and it was registered with charity commissioner in 1955. Sheth Shri Doongarshibhai was not only a religious person but was equally aware of the importance of education. He purchased the open land at Tapovan Nashik in 1918.
“Vishnu Yaag Yagna” had been arranged, the presence of Sri Shankaracharya from Jyotimath made the celebrations unique with his blessings a Vanaprasthashram got established here.
The efforts and dedication of Shri Madhukant V.Thakker managing trustee and Shrimati Malti Madhukant Thakker, has made this trust a landmark in the society where old people staying peacefully in the Vansprathashram, a home away from home, and education for children is the motto.
